We landed in Sorong around 6am and caught the sunrise as we were landing.
We were picked up by the Tiare team, right after we exited customs and whisked to a hotel for breakfast while we waited for the boat to be ready. Once the boat was ready we went to the pier to take a small boat to Tiare.

Once on the boat we relinquished our shoes, we’d be spending the next 2 weeks shoeless, and headed to our cabin.

We got unpacked and I decided I was still feeling bad enough that I needed another nap. Jacob decided to do some reading and watch the sunset while I tired to recover. Luckily we weren’t doing the checkout dive that evening, my ears would not have cooperated.
