Today we went diving at Kicker Rock. We started out by visiting a near by island and walking the beach and viewing Kicker Rock from the beach.
Dive 1: Kicker Rock
This dive was an amazing dive, we saw a large group of 30 or so hammerhead sharks swim by. The visibility wasn’t great but it was cool to see that many hammerheads.
Dive 2: Kicker Rock
On this dive there was a giant school of black striped salima, it was so big it blocked out much of the light when diving. We swam thru the school and watched sea lions and turtles do the same.
As we surfaced we heard dolphins but we couldn’t see them. We got in the boat and started to dry off when we saw a giant pod of maybe 100 dolphins swimming near by. We rushed over to jump in and snorkel with them.
After diving we went back to our hotel, got cleaned up and took a nap. I woke up with pain in my hip 😖, I got DCS again, I guess waiting 2 months wasn’t enough. I went to the dive shop, they gave me oxygen and it went away and didn’t think I needed to ho to a chamber. When I get home I’m going to the doctor to get this figured out and got into a chamber.
