Today we get on the live aboard for our tour of the Galápagos Islands. We got up and got packed and went to the pier to wait for the zodiac to take us to the boat. There was a bit of confusion about what boat we were supposed to be on, the company has three identical boats that sail at the same time together. They started by taking us to the boat named Evolve where we met the very gregarious captain. Unfortunately that wasn’t our boat and they transferred us to the Origin. So we took sometime to get settled into the ship and had some pina coldas.
In the afternoon we set sail to see Kicker Rock and enjoy the sunset. As we sailed Frigate birds soared over the ship drafting off the wind from the ship.
We took it easy and enjoyed the views and the all inclusive cocktails. Then went to bed relatively early because we had an early start the next day.
