We started out the day with brunch and a place across the river from our hotel. We then made our way to the Gardens by the Bay.
We started by visiting the flower gardens first, which was divided by region of the world from Africa to Mexico to Australia. With many different wooden sculptures thru out the garden.
Next we went to the sky tree walkway to see the views of the city.
After the gardens we made our way thru the park to the Art Science Museum. Interestingly enough there was a team planet labs exhibit happening at the Art Science museum. So we started by heading there first.
One of the interactive rooms you drew a turtle and it then became digital art and swam around. Jacob obviously made a Canadian turtle with a toque and hockey stick.
They also had a smaller replica of the LED room that we visited in Japan.
Next we went into an exhibit centered around color and emotion. There were some interesting pieces, including a weird spikes thing that seemed to have a robotic arm on the inside and a mirror that created a poem based on your “emotions” taken from the picture.
Lastly we went to the weirdest of the exhibits, an exhibit centered around the strange merging of life forms in common settings.
We then headed back to our hotel to get ready to meet with my friend Lionel and his wife Carmen. We had a good evening eating at a hawker market in Chinatown and had a post dinner drinks.
