Due to some poor planning I got an afternoon flight back Bali because I thought we were doing more diving on the last day. So we slept in a bit and then chilled on the boat. After looking at the tickets, I was a bit concerned that the layover is too short so we went to the airport to see what options we have. We got to the airport and spoke with the main agent who said that they would hold our next plane. So we sat in the airport for several hours before getting to our layover and finding that the plane was delayed by 1 hour. So we had some A&W which seems to be very popular in Indonesia for some reason. We finally landed in Bali around 8:30pm.
After the 2 hour ride to the hotel we finally could relax. Except I booked a room package with all the things it turns out and we had to schedule them all at check-in. Which meant we couldn’t sleep in the next day because we had a floating breakfast in the morning. Also since it was so late and nothing was open they sent complimentary dinner to our room. We understood why when we got to the room, I guess they thought we were on our honeymoon? So we are our sandwich and decided to head to bed after our exhausting airport day and no bars were open.
