DAY 55

We woke up early today to go to the glow worm caves in Waitomo. We floated on inner tubes thru the caves to see the glow worms. Unfortunately we weren’t allowed to bring camera and they gave us canned images of the glow worms, but it looked like the pictures below.

After we went for a hike around outside of the caves we tubed thru. Jacob was very excited by the moss and stopped to pet it.

We then headed for our hotel and went to the local hot tubs to relax and have a few drinks.

After the relaxing soak we went to the redwood forest for the sky tree walk. The forest was lit with LEDs and lanterns as we walked thru the trees on swing bridges.
