Today we head to Queenstown, we got up early and headed to the airport. At the airport we had breakfast bagels and Jacob got his much needed coffee.
We landed to the sight of picturesque mountains after a quick two hour flight.
From the airport we made our way to our hotel, the Jucy Snooze, and dropped off our bags because we couldn’t check in until 3pm. We were both hungry so we headed to the lake shore and got lunch and incredible views.
After we wandered around Queenstowns checking out the shops and small downtown area. It’s very similar to downtown Truckee. As we wandered we noticed an escape room place and decided to play a game. We did okay but we lost a piece in the room and needed to get external help to finish the room.
When we finished it was finally time to check into our room. After getting settled into our tiny private hostel room, we set out for a nice dinner at a local Italian place. The food was good and celebrated my birthday again with some dessert. After we made our way to one of the many ice bars in Queenstown.
We called it a night early because we had hiking plans in the morning.
