We spent the next couple days in Cairns not doing much. I wasn’t feeling the best and very tired. We spent most of the time just chilling in the room and going on short walks to get food. Jacob and I also used the time to start prototyping a board game that we thought would be fun to play, because why not?!?
But because of all the excitement of having DCS we missed the deadline for applying for the visa to Vietnam which required a lot of money and hoops to jump thru to get a visa on arrival on a Saturday. 😖😖 So we spent our last day in Cairns doing laundry and getting visa photos. After we got our passport photos we headed to the airport to go to Brisbane for the night before heading to Ho Chi Minh.
Once we got to Brisbane, I was finally feeling well enough that we went out to some speakeasies in Brisbane.
