We got up early (3:30am) to fly to Vietnam. It seemed that the visa on arrival documents were good enough to get us on a plane.
We landed in Saigon around 4pm and made our way to the visa on arrival processing area where we waited for about 45mins to get out visas.
After getting our bags we took a Grab to Rick and Phoung’s. We quickly got settled and tour of their place then headed out for dinner and beers with their friends.
We went until late into the night, shutting down 3 bars and finally calling it quits when Jacob and I had passed the 24hr mark of being awake by a good margin. I was a great first night in Saigon.
